We have been away for a while and that is mostly due to an unwillingness to sacrifice our precious time to bring you joy. Sorry, but we are greedy bastards. But that is coming to an end. To honor these wonderful people who have sacrificed themselves, we shall now make sacrifices too. That starts with more regular postings that will hopefully bring you lots of joy.

Where is the ball?
Excellent question and the answer is we have no idea. But fear not, you don't really need a ball to still have some humor in your life. There are oh so many things that can hit your face that are funny. Let's take a cue from the comedy genius of the chaps at Monty Python.

How this love affair began
We here at Ball Meet Face did not come about our love with balls in the face by happenstance. Many of these videos involve one of our favorite sports and from time to time when the need arises (the supply of ball to face videos is limited you know) we will post some non-ball-to-face related yet still ball related videos. We won't do that here but we just want you lovely people to be prepared for that eventuality.
This is how our love affair started
and this is just to prove that the little ones can fight back too, and a large stage no less.

A ball to face tragedy happened this weekend as both The Ball and The Face were playing in soccer game this weekend and we had our very own ball to face encounter, but alas there was no video camera to document this moment. A tragedy if ever there was one. But the lesson is learned, you never know when a ball will strike a face, so be vigilant and be prepared.

A variation on the theme

What we are about
This blog is, as most blogs are, dedicated to a single element of the human experience. Here we have chosen to highlight what may possibly be the funniest moment in life, people getting hit in the face with balls. Although we feel for the little ones, their pain does bring us joy and so we rejoice in the fact that their suffering is not meaningless. We also salute those special people who volunteer their faces and other body parts for our joy.
